• Uninstall previous version of NAS if any (ControlPanel -> Programs and Features). All settings, product key and added custom libraries will be preserved on a machine. New installation should pick up previous configuration and addIns.
  • Download and startup server version setup file. Go through installation process. It creates automation window service and web interface to manage automation.
  • The structure of directories at C:\NAS\ is next:
    • AddIns – directory for new task catalogs
    • Interface – directory with web interface for referencing in IIS application
  • To check if automation service was started correctly user may run services.exe from command line or go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Find AutomationService and check if it’s started.
  • If automation service is supposed to have access to resources on your local network ask a network administrator to create a service account with needed permissions. Apply the account to AutomationService. Restart it.
  • Automation is ready for configuration and use.
